Do you expect the art to be done within that week. Or within the month. Or do you really not care as long as it doesnt take an unreasonable amount of time?

Do you mind if the artists works on other things, that arent commission related, when they HAVE commissions to do? Or do you know that either way, your commission will be quality?

What are your opinions on this guys?

  1. kacistar answered: i think as long as the artist lets you know it could take a little while then it is fine.
  2. zhurenaissance answered: As someone who has recently commissioned you, JACK DON’T GIVE A FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
  3. spencerzombie answered: As long as I’m not waiting for over a year I’m good.
  4. trydianth answered: I don’t expect a certain deadline, I personally impose a deadline on myself to make sure the payment is ready. I let the artist dictate terms
  5. heavywoodenbox answered: i would give an artist an entire week. but i would also expect them to give me a heads up that they’re busy w/ other things too.
  6. ask-maplehoof answered: Really they dont just work on the commission they do other stuff while doing it so months or weeks w/e dont matter
  7. justalittlemoon said: If they have a reason for taking their time, like work, I’d be patient. I also can’t expect them to churn out art for others like that, they’d pry get frustrated. As long as I’m kept updated on my spot number and where it’s going, it would be fine.
  8. holyshytson answered: That’s why I tell the truth ‘I’ve been slacking/not in the mood my fault I’ll get to them eventually’
  9. shaleskale answered: I don’t really think the time it takes matters, except like you said in unreasonable cases.
  10. wiiseemonkeeyy said: As long as it doesn’t take almost a year and the artist isn’t lying to me saying “Oh, its almost done” then I’m fine with them taking their time.
  11. askaxelpool answered: i’m fine as long it doesn’t take a ridiculously long time to finish or it gets canceled. if they’re busy i don’t mind the wait.
  12. naviita answered: I think I would expect it to be done in a timely/reasonable fashion and I wouldn’t be bothered if the artist worked on something else
  13. askevilestia answered: I dont know i do my own work ,
  14. ozolopolis answered: well I suppose it doesn’t really matter as long as I get the commission in the quality I expect it to be in, within at most a month’s time
  15. remakine said: I personally let the artist take their time. All artists work at different speeds and rushing them doesn’t make their artwork any better. So I don’t mind how long it takes. And I don’t mind if they work on other things either.
  16. sophira-lou answered: personally i think it depends on the size of the image and what people want, however i feel the artist should be able to take there time!
  17. pokemallow answered: Yeah I don’t really care about time but I worry about others when doing them xD
